Precision Mold Design Cuts Trial Cycles for Home Appliance Parts

Mold-flow simulation and DFM review reduced the number of trial rounds for appliance housings.

Our engineering team reviewed wall thickness, gate positions and cooling layout for a range of appliance housings before cutting steel. Mold-flow simulation highlighted weld lines and shrinkage risks that were corrected at the design stage, shortening the time to volume production.
